**QX will meet inside City Hall, beside C Café at 6pm for a check in and chat. Clothing swap runs from 7-9 pm
**Don't worry if you don't have clothes you want to donate, we've got lots, so there will be plenty of extra tickets for everyone!
**Bus tickets available

The AGM will be hosting its very first clothing swap and all are welcome! Enjoy the night and engage, mingle, leave with great additions to your closet!

How does it work?
Well, for every swappable item you bring, you’ll receive a ticket that can then be used to redeem any item from the swap. Additional tickets will also be available for purchase. Unclaimed tickets will be put into a raffle draw for exciting prizes!

What is considered a swappable item?
Articles of clothing must be clean, washed and ready-to-wear condition with no unintentional rips (no undergarments please). Accessories like jewelry, handbags, scarves, headpieces, belts and shoes are also accepted.

An in-house seamstress will be available to make alterations to the garments and an exciting DIY station will be available for personalizing swapped items!

Finger foods and refreshments will be provided.

All leftover clothing will be donated to Goodwill.

The AGM is committed to fostering positive space and will provide gender neutral change rooms. C Cafe is wheelchair accessible and universal/gender neutral washrooms are available on site.

November 20 (6-9 pm)
Trans* Day of Remembrance Community Gathering
East Mississauga Community Health Centre
7-2555 Dixie Rd., Mississauga ON L4Y 4C4

Join QX on Thursday, November 20 from 6-9pm when we will be showing a selection of short films and clips that celebrate the lives and experiences of trans* folks, their struggles and their resilience.

Join us for community-building, discussion and delicious food.

**In keeping with the standard parameters of QX, all folks who self-identify as part of the queer and trans spectrum are welcome.

Trans* Day of Remembrance invites us to honour the memory of the trans* members of our communities who have lost their lives in the past year and beyond, whether to transphobia, racism, whorephobia (hatred of or violence towards sexworkers or perceived sexworkers), misogyny (hatred/violence towards women), and other forms of oppression that increase violence and limit access and protection for trans* people, and disproportionately, trans women of colour.

Trans* is a term used to reference the spectrum of trans communities, including but not limited to those who identify as 2 spirit, transsexual, transgender, genderqueer, non-binary, FtM, MtF, androgyne, agender and beyond.

PFLAG, Peel Region, Monthly Support Meeting: November 26, 7-9pm

Next Meeting:
Wednesday, November 26th, 2014
Doors at 7pm. Sharing from 7:15-9pm.
East Mississauga Community Health Centre
2555 Dixie Rd., Unit 7
Mississauga ON L4Y 4C4

In a warm and caring atmosphere, families and friends hear about the experiences of others, share their own, and get support in learning to understand and accept their child, family member or friend. All discussions are confidential, and many people come at first to listen and not to talk. PFLAG welcomes parents, partners, families and friends, as well as their LGBTTIQQ2S* loved ones.

Each month families come to the PFLAG meeting, hoping to hear from others experiencing similar situations. If you are a parent, sibling or partner of a queer or trans loved one who no longer needs support in your own process, but is open to sharing your experience with others, it would be lovely if you could join us.

Refreshments and bus tickets provided.
Wheelchair accessible and scent-free space.
All gender washrooms available.

Meetings take place the last Wednesday of each month.
